COVID-19 PROTOCOL

First Serve Tennis continues to make the health and safety of our players and coaches a top priority. In addition to following guidance from the CDC and USTA, we heavily stress social distancing and sanitize extensively each day.

Tennis is one of the few low risk sports during this time. Along with the many physical and mental health benefits tennis already offers, our programs present an even greater level of safety due to being located outdoors. We feel confident our players can continue learning, training, competing and enjoying the sport we all love in a safe environment. With that, the following measures are in place to keep our players and coaches safe:

  • Proper social distancing will be monitored at all times on the court.

  • All coaches frequently sanitize throughout the day.

  • Hand sanitizer is available for players, which we encourage them to use.

  • Although players are not required to wear masks while playing, they are welcome to if they choose to do so.

  • Players will not be required to handle any tennis balls if they do not feel comfortable doing so.

  • Any player who tests positive for COVID-19 must tell the program directors and will not be able to participate until after their 2 week quarantine. (make-up credits will be given)
